Trillium continued the work of its founders on a large project that provided strategic communication and counsel, training, and technical assistance for national Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Center for Mental Health Services initiatives. Our work covered important behavioral health priorities, including the prevention of suicide, youth violence, bullying, trauma, and the promotion of mental health. The project worked with hundreds of communities across the country to communicate more effectively through the following seven grantee programs: Safe Schools/Healthy Students, National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, the Garrett Lee Smith State and Tribal Youth Suicide Prevention and Campus Suicide Prevention programs, National Child Traumatic Stress Network, Native Aspirations, and the Community Resilience and Recovery Initiative. Trillium team members were instrumental in strategic communication planning and creating materials such as websites, publications, videos, marketing materials, PSAs, and other tools for SAMHSA and grantees to use in bringing attention to the services they provide to the nation.
